THE WATERS
The water at Glenwood Hot Springs is a natural marvel, sourced from the Yampah Spring, which means “Big Medicine” in the Ute language. Flowing at an impressive rate of 3.5 million gallons per day and emerging at a steamy 122°F (51°C), this water is enriched with 15 healing minerals. The unique mineral composition—including sulfate, chloride, and sodium—gives the water its distinct silky feel and restorative qualities. Visitors often describe the water as soothing and therapeutic, with a clear, slightly blue-green tint that invites relaxation and rejuvenation in the midst of the Colorado Rockies.
